GBCA Southeast Regional Top Performers Pt. 1

Ryan Crotty, Holly Springs (NC)

Crotty's abilities on the offensive end shined this weekend. He consistently shot the ball well from the perimeter and was one of the better shooters in the field. He also spent a lot of time playing on the ball creating for himself off the dribble and showing the ability to be a well-rounded playmaker. With his skillset at 6-foot-6, he's definitely a guy that Division I programs will want to see through the rest of the summer.

Chris Cornish, Charlotte (FL)

Cornish was extremely consistent scoring the ball all weekend, going over the 20-point mark in each of Charlotte's games. He was very efficient, getting his work done off the dribble getting to the rim and finishing with athleticism as well as finding success on the offensive glass. He plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor, can guard multiple positions, and brings a lot of winning qualities to the table. College programs will want him on their watch lists.

Keenan Gray, McDonough

McDonough will have to fill a lot of productivity from last season, and Gray looked more than capable of being the guy to step into a bigger role. He's a true scoring guard that is dynamic off the dribble and can get to his spots and convert. He also showed some big flashes of athleticism in the open floor, going up for some big dunks above the rim. He averaged over 20 points per game on the weekend, and he looks poised to have a big season down on the south side.

Gicarri Harris, Grayson

Harris arrived for Grayson's games on Saturday and immediately made his presence felt. He scored the ball from every level of the floor and did so with very good efficiency. However what showed the most was his ability to make reads with the ball in his hands and consistently make the right plays whether it was scoring himself or finding teammates for opportunities. He continues to make strides and is one of the best players overall in Georgia's 2024 class.

Sha'yah Goba, Mt. Vernon

Goba has some very impressive offensive performances, finishing off plays and scoring the ball very well. He's an athletic finisher in the paint at 6-foot-5 and also showed the ability to stretch his range and connect on shots from three. He also uses those athletic abilities on the glass and on defensive end of the floor, where he contributes as a multi-positional defender and a guy who can also provide solid rim protection.
