RYZE Summer 60: Friday & Saturday Quick Notes

The first two days of the RYZE Summer 60 live period event are now behind us, with a lot of play to dive through. There were a ton of bright spots and some fantastic performances over the two days. Here is the notebook dump from Friday & Saturday:

- Best player that I've seen? Team Swish 2022 forward Nate Brafford (Pictured). He's a do-everything long and lanky 6-foot-8 forward with a great offensive skill set on the perimeter that can beat you in so many different ways. He is averaging over 30 points per game and has done so in spectacular fashion. Rhode Island is currently in heavy pursuit of him and was in attendance for him on Saturday.

- Best team that I've seen? ABC Elite. They've had a monster weekend led by guards Kedrick Green, Simeon Cottle, and Kory Mincy as well as forwards Jerry Deng and Nolan Wells. They play fast, they play tough, and they play together. This is a very impressive group that have all drawn interest from the Division I coaches in attendance en route to a 4-0 start to the weekend.

- Georgia Legacy 2022 PG Kami Young has raised his stock tremendously over the past few weeks. He recently earned his first offer from Mercer, but expect that list to grow quickly. He's a very good, strong-bodied scorer who can do it from every level of the floor. However, his ability to guard the ball has been on full display over the course of the two days.

- TSF Mack 2022 wing Cam Walker has taken on more of a starring lead role this week with some changes to the TSF roster, and he has shined in doing so. He's averaging over 25 points per game, knocking down threes with consistency, and playing with confidence with the ball in his hand. His offer list will undoubtedly grow through the rest of the summer and into the fall.

- CP25 AL/MS 2022 PG Jaborri McGhee has been one of the most consistent and prolific scorers in the field this weekend. He's gone over the 20 point mark in all three games, including a 33-point performance in a win over Upward Stars Pee Dee. He's got great strength and athleticism combined with natural scoring instincts that will make him a popular backcourt prospect in the southeast.

- Newnan Fire 2022 guard Jordan Edun is currently leading the 17U division in scoring and is quite the sleeper down on the southside. He's had scoring performances of 29 and 40 points, getting to the rim whenever he wants to. At 6-foot-3 with solid length and versatility, he's certainly drawn some eyes, and coaches may want to take a curious look tomorrow and through the remainder of July.

- Smyrna Stars 2022 guard Juvon Gamory is an absolute sniper with range to the volleyball lines. He's knocked down 18 threes over three games and has been one of the best perimeter scorers in the field.
