The Warmup Top Performers Pt. 1

Miles George, SEBA FCI Warriors

George was one of the best scorers in the entire field, averaging 21 points per game across three games. He went over the 20-point mark three times, including a 29-point performance to close out the weekend on Sunday. He's got good size for the point guard position at 6-foot-3, and uses his physical abilities off the bounce to get into the paint and make plays as well as finish at the rim. He also showed that he can knock down the three ball, hitting 10 threes in those four games and six threes in his big 29-point effort. He's got sleeper written all over him in Georgia's 2025 class & earned an offer from Voorhees at The Warmup this weekend.

Kai Wood, Kountry Wayne Elite

Kountry Wayne Elite has a balanced group and a ton of guys had big moments, but Wood was the one who stole the show the most. His size and length on the wing at 6-foot-7 allow him to be a very versatile player on both ends of the floor. He was in double figures in scoring every game this weekend, averaging 14 points per game. However, he can impact the game in a lot of ways. As the weekend went on, his lefty shooting stroke started to get going, which makes him an even more attractive prospect. He hit multiple threes in both games on Sunday. He's a guy college programs will want on watch-lists this spring.

Adrian Hughes, MPire Elite

Hughes led the 15U division in scoring this weekend at over 20 points per game, including a huge 41-point effort to start the weekend on Saturday. He has a very good shooting stroke and can create his shot off the dribble as well as play off the ball and excel in catch-and-shoot situations. He also brings a lot of intensity to the floor, and one of our staff members described his demeanor as "Pat Bev-like". He's a name to stash away in 2027.

Trevor Mwangi, Reid Fundamentals

Mwangi was the second leading scorer in the 17U division, averaging over 25 points per game on the weekend, going over 20 points three times including a 38-point performance against BBA. His shooting stroke was on fire all weekend as he hit 24 total threes in four games. He's great at coming off screens and recognizing angles and how to get his shot away. He didn't force his offense and got everything in the flow of the game too. He was the best shooter in the gym this weekend.

Khaven Cochran, Georgia Travelers

It took Cochran's jumper a little while to get going, but when it did he kept it rolling. He averaged 17 points per game on the weekend and was consistent scoring the ball well in every game and connecting on three or more threes in every game as well. He was a big time standout on our stage during the 2023 travel season and he got off to a solid start for 2024. College coaches will definitely want him on watch-lists this spring and summer.

Jayden Barton, 865 Elite

Barton finished second in scoring in the 16U division at over 20 points per game. He has a savvy for putting the ball in the basket and can do it from every level of the floor both off the dribble and off the catch. He's a very good three point shooter and averaged over 3 threes per game this weekend. However, he has the ability to attack closeouts, put the ball on the floor, and make reads to either score the ball himself off the dribble or find teammates for scoring opportunities.

Keandre Yancey, Networks

After a slow start to the weekend, Yancey exploded over his final three games including a 32-point performance on Sunday morning, and finished the weekend at over 18 points per game. He's a strong wing-forward that can be a big matchup problem on the offensive side with the ability to take opposing wings into the paint and opposing big onto the perimeter as he can score the ball inside-out. He also showed his athleticism with a couple of big dunks and finishes at the rim.
