Jayvion Nurse, Sewer South
Nurse was one of the bigger surprises of the weekend, and is one of the bigger sleepers that we have seen this spring. He showed that he can play both spots in the backcourt and be effective scoring and playmaking from both. He was very efficient this weekend, consistently knocking down shots from three and in the midrange and creating offense for himself and teammates. He should be one to keep an eye on this spring.
Tylis Jordan, Game Elite 3SSB
Jordan is going to be a highly sought after player this spring. He has an elite combination of size and skill level and has a growing mentality that he's the best player on any floor he steps onto. He can score the ball inside out, create his offense off the dribble, can be dominant on the glass, and protect the rim at a high rate. The sky is the limit in terms of his potential and he definitely looked primed for a big spring this weekend.
Amir Eichelberger, Tier2Elite
Eichelberger finished tied atop the scoring leaderboard at 31 points per game on the weekend, including a 37-point performance in a win over OTP National on Saturday. While he was able to find some success shooting the ball from three, he got a bulk of is work done off the dribble attacking the rim. He's an athletic finisher in the paint and also has knack for drawing contact and getting to the line. He had a very impressive weekend scoring the ball.
Cade Capps, STARS Basketball Club
It took Capps a game to find his shooting stroke, but when he did he showed what a prolific scorer he can be. He was in double figures in every game, and exploded for 32 points in a win over Anthony Morrow Elite including hitting seven threes. He's extremely dangerous as shooter off the catch and has the ability to attack closeouts and get to the rim or pull up in the midrange. He has the reputation of a shooter, but his scoring ability is very well-rounded.
Garrett Shoemaker, Team Scoot TJ
The Louisiana native's combination of size, motor, and athletic ability make him a standout. He has a lot of versatility at 6-foot-7 with the ability to finish above the rim as well as step out and hit shots and put the ball on the floor. He gave a great effort on the glass and provided some high level finishes above the rim in transition. He's a guy college coaches will definitely want to know.
Osby Cavin, STARS Basketball Club
Cavin did a great job from both a playmaking and scoring standpoint. He consistently used his creativity off the dribble to get into the paint and either find teammates for scoring chances or finish plays himself. He also shot the ball well from three and showed that he can make an impact on the game without having the ball in his hands. He has the makings of a very good guard.
Matt Allen, Game Elite 3SSB
It's easy to see the scoring ability that Allen possesses. He's a knock down shooter from three and showed that hitting six threes in a win over STARS Basketball Club. However, he's got a lot more to his game. He can attack off the bounce and has a number of finishes in his bag around the rim as well as sneaky athleticism. He was able to attack closeouts and get downhill in a hurry and navigate his way around bigger defenders in the paint.
Jayden London, AE5 3SSB
London is a high-ceiling guy who showed a lot of different aspects to his game this weekend. With his size and length, he's a factor around the rim as a rebounder and rim protector. Offensively, he showed a ton of versatility, scoring the ball athletically around the rim as well as showing the ability to step onto the perimeter and either hit shots or put the ball on the floor. As he continues to develop, he could become a very good frontcourt prospect in Georgia's 2026 class.
