The Nation’s Biggest College Scouting Event Returns to LakePoint Sports for Another Sold-Out Weekend
Atlanta, GA (July 20, 2025) — LakePoint Sports, the Premier Travel and Youth Sports Destination in the country, is set to host the Futures Weekend Presented by GeoSurfaces from July 21–26, 2026, the seventh of eight sold-out Champions Weekends in the 2026 series. Headlining the weekend is Prep Baseball’s Future Games, the most anticipated summer scouting event for uncommitted prospects across the United States and Canada.
LakePoint’s Baseball Village features eight Major League-sized fields outfitted with GeoSurfaces turf, the leading full-service turf product in the country. Installed across all baseball fields, GeoSurfaces turf delivers an enhanced playing experience, with ball-bounce that mimics real grass and dirt while remaining playable immediately after rain. The specialized turf also reduces surface temperatures during Georgia’s peak summer heat.
Future Games week at LakePoint spans several days and features three individual events. The Senior Future Games (17U) runs July 21–22, spotlighting the best uncommitted Class of 2027 talent in the country. The Future Games (16U) runs July 22–25, bringing together top uncommitted Class of 2028 prospects from over 40 states and Canada. The Junior Future Games (14U) runs July 22–26, featuring elite Class of 2030 and 2031 prospects. At the 2025 Future Games, over 400 college coaches attended the event — the second consecutive year that mark has been hit — underscoring how central the Future Games has become to the annual recruiting cycle.
Players at this year’s event will receive the full Prep Baseball Tech Package, which includes TrackMan hitting and pitching metrics, Blast Motion swing data and analysis, athletic measurements, and vision testing analysis administered by Vizual Edge. Mizuno will again provide Future Games prospects with high-quality gear throughout the event.
The Future Games isn’t just about the games — it’s about the platform. Players will benefit from unmatched exposure and media coverage through Prep Baseball’s national network, with video, analysis, and highlights reaching audiences across the country.

Adding to the weekend’s energy, the GON Outdoor Blast Sportsman Show will transform the 170,000 sq. ft. Champions Center into a hub for hunters, anglers, and outdoor fans from across the region. Attendees can shop deals on hunting, fishing, boating, and camping gear from outdoor companies across the country, while enjoying interactive events including the Truck-Buck Shoot-Out, fishing seminars with a 5,000-gallon bass tank, turkey calling contests, snake shows with Southeastern Reptile Rescue’s Jason Clark, and celebrity meet-and-greets. The Champions Center’s climate-controlled space and flexible layout make it a natural home for large-scale events like the Outdoor Blast, welcoming outdoor fans and sports fans alike under one roof.
