Nathan’s Famous Cooks Up Partnership with LakePoint Sports
Iconic hot dog brand signs multi-faceted agreement with America’s premier youth sports destination
ATLANTA (June 22, 2021) – Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, the brand behind America’s biggest hot dog eating contest, has agreed to a multi-year partnership with LakePoint Sports in time for the busy summer event schedule. As part of the agreement, Nathan’s Hot Dogs will be offered at all LakePoint food and beverage outlets across campus, including a special “Grand Slam” meal deal in the Baseball Village. The Nathan’s Famous brand will also be integrated into more than a dozen digital scoreboards and monitors at LakePoint’s Baseball Village and Champions Center venues.
Nathan’s Famous was started by Nathan Handwerker at New York’s Coney Island back in 1916 and has grown to become the world’s best-known hot dog. Nathan’s Hot dogs are available in every supermarket in America, and now the massive LakePoint Sports Campus in greater Atlanta, Georgia.
“Nothing enhances the sports experience than a Nathan’s Famous hot dog,” said Leigh Platte, Senior Vice President at Nathan’s Famous. “We’re thrilled to help to feed the passion of so many young athletes and their families when they visit LakePoint Sports.”
When we brought our food and beverage in-house last year, we were looking for ways to elevate the guest experience,” said Marshal Eagle, COO at LakePoint Sports. “Having an iconic, American brand like Nathan’s Famous available for our guests is exactly what we had in mind.”
Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs are now available to all LakePoint guests. They will also be featured in various promotions and special offers during the LakePoint “Champions Weekend” series and RYZE Hoops basketball events.
